ImportantCapital B Reports Net Loss of €69.5 Million in H1, BTC Reserves Rise to 3,538 Units
French Bitcoin treasury firm Capital B released its 2026 semi-annual report, recording H1 revenue of €5.846 million, representing a 3.5% year-over-year increase. The company posted a net loss of approximately €69.5 million, compared to a loss of around €1.86 million in the same period last year. The loss is primarily attributable to a €67.5 million impairment charge recognized as of June 30 due to the decline in Bitcoin prices, a non-cash loss that involves no cash outflow. As of September 30, the company's strategic Bitcoin reserves increased to 3,538 units, with an aggregate acquisition cost of approximately €310.6 million, translating to an average cost of roughly €87,805 per BTC, marking a 25.3% increase from the 2,823 Bitcoin units held as of January 2026. The year-to-date return on Bitcoin holdings stands at 2.2%.
