The political action committee (PAC) associated with the cryptocurrency industry has deployed more than $52 million in the Ohio Senate election, to oppose former Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown and support incumbent Republican Senator Jon Husted. The major spender is Defend American Jobs under Fairshake, which has spent $46.6 million on media advertisements, a substantial increase from the previously announced $30 million plan. This PAC is primarily funded by Coinbase and Ripple Labs.
