Three Men in the UK Sentenced for Burglary Committed to Steal Cryptocurrency

Three men who broke into a residential property in Bristol in an attempt to steal cryptocurrency were each handed a prison sentence of no less than five years at Bristol Crown Court on October 15. Terroll Paul, 31, Mohamed Samagassi, 37, and Pierre Madzou, 30, forcefully entered the victim's residence in the early hours of May 15, assaulted the occupant and demanded that they surrender a large sum of digital currency. The victim sustained a head injury and required hospital treatment. The trio was arrested at the scene after the victim's underage sister contacted the police. All three pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary, with Paul sentenced to six years' imprisonment, Madzou to five and a half years, and Samagassi to five years.
