Nine Crypto Institutions Form Quantum Alliance to Address Quantum Risks
Nine blockchain-related organizations have announced the establishment of the Quantum Alliance, which aims to develop unified open "quantum-ready" standards, define and verify quantum-resistance claims for networks, wallets and infrastructure, and formulate migration compatibility rules. Modeled after the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), the alliance will carry out its work through four working groups: blockchain migration, post-quantum zero-knowledge systems, wallet security, and cross-chain compatibility. Founding members cover sectors including underlying protocols, privacy networks, Rollups, hardware wallets and security audits, including Quantus, Postquant Labs, Midnight Foundation, Keystone, Abelian, Hacken and others.
