Deepseek Announces API Web Search and Crawling Pricing: ¥5 per 1000 Successful Requests

DeepSeek has released an official notice stating that the DeepSeek API now supports web search and crawling, with billing calculated on a per-request basis at a unit price of ¥5 per 1000 successful requests. The notice notes that current users accessing the DeepSeek API via DeepSeek Harness, Claude Code, or Codex are already routed to the Search/Fetch interfaces through server-side tool calls. These Search/Fetch interface calls are currently not billed, and per-call charges will take effect at 00:00 Beijing Time on November 1, 2026.
