Gross Domestic Product increased by 4.6% year-on-year in the first three quarters of this year

The State Council Information Office held a press conference today, and the National Bureau of Statistics released the economic data for the first three quarters of this year. According to preliminary calculations, the gross domestic product in the first three quarters reached 107.1071 trillion yuan, representing a 4.6% year-on-year increase at constant prices. China's Q3 annualized GDP growth rate came in at 4.5%, beating the market expectation of 4.40% and up from the previous reading of 4.30%.
