ImportantDeutsche Bank Plans to Expand Crypto Custody to Asia by 2027, German Service Launch Imminent

Deutsche Bank plans to launch crypto asset custody services that will allow corporate and institutional clients to hold and transfer BTC, ETH, as well as stablecoins including USDC, EURC and EURAU, with the bank taking charge of security technologies such as wallets and private keys. The German domestic service will be rolled out within weeks, pending final regulatory approval; BaFin has already granted relevant authorization to the bank in accordance with MiCA on October 12. The bank targets to extend the service coverage to Asia by 2027, while the specific priority regions for expansion have not been disclosed.
