Initia Plans to Migrate USDC from Noble to Injective, No User Action Required
Initia announced on the X platform that as Circle will discontinue USDC on Noble, Initia's USDC will be migrated to Injective. Initia Labs has developed a redemption vault that eliminates the need for users to perform manual operations: newly deposited USDC will arrive in the form of USDC.inj; existing USDC.n remains fully usable, and will be automatically converted to USDC.inj via the vault upon withdrawal before the transfer is finalized. Users may also convert their holdings at a 1:1 ratio via Initia Wallet. Initia notes that after January 12, 2027, Circle will only redeem Noble USDC held in self-custody wallets. The redemption vault is designed to prevent USDC.n held on Initia from becoming unredeemable after that date.
