Crypto payments network Mesh has announced a partnership with Visa. Users can directly spend their cryptocurrency and stablecoin balances in participating wallet applications at approximately 175 million Visa merchant outlets worldwide, both online and in-person, without needing to apply for a separate card, pre-liquidate crypto assets, or make advance transfers. Mesh handles fund orchestration and the conversion between cryptocurrencies, stablecoins and fiat currencies, and acts as the project administrator to manage user onboarding and KYC processes. Merchants receive payments via standard existing workflows with no required hardware or software upgrades. Details on the first batch of participating platforms and the official launch timeline will be announced separately.
