Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson Personally Develops New Programming Language

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson stated on X on Sunday that he is personally developing a new programming language for Cardano. His collaborator is Lucas Rosa, software engineer at Input Output Global and co-creator of Aiken, Cardano's smart contract language. Hoskinson noted that this will be the first language to combine transaction intents with cryptographic proofs that "rules have been followed", supporting transaction intents, proof-carrying data, and Groth16 proofs.
