JPMorgan Forecast: Bitcoin Will Become the Highest-Return Asset Over the Next Decade

Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer of Bitwise, posted on the X platform that JPMorgan has included Bitcoin in its Long-Term Capital Markets Assumptions report, forecasting that Bitcoin will be the highest-return asset over the next ten years. The report sets the expected volatility of Bitcoin at 55%, compared to 17.2% for gold. Hougan noted that the report includes a large number of qualifying conditions and acknowledges that Bitcoin is still in its maturing phase. He believes the volatility assumption in the report is excessively high, while the return assumption is overly conservative.
