Notion Upgrades AI Agent, Enabling Desktop and Browser Operations with Tasks Running Up to 24 Hours

Notion has announced an upgrade to its AI capabilities. The Notion Agent can now access dedicated desktops and browsers, features improved context management, and adds a new "Review for me" mode with built-in security checks, with tasks capable of running for up to 24 hours. The upgraded Auto model routing balances quality, speed, and cost based on task requirements. The company states that it has achieved performance close to Opus 5.5 and Astra across more than 20 common tasks, with an average cost reduction of approximately 90%. Notion also supports personal Agents connecting to existing ChatGPT subscriptions, while the enterprise Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) API key functionality has entered private Alpha testing. Notion MCP memory synchronization is now live, and the feature to use skills via MCP will be launched soon. AI usage will be integrated into the new unified credit system.
