Google DeepMind Research: AI Collaborative Capability Is the Key Driver of Economic Transformation

Google DeepMind researchers Alex Imas, Andrew Koh, and co-founder Shane Legg published a paper stating that improvements in individual AI capabilities will only exert gradual impacts on wages and prices. Abrupt shifts in market concentration, employment, and wages will only occur when the multi-agent collaborative capability crosses the "super-collaboration" threshold. The paper divides AI development into four stages: Minimum AGI, Super-Competent AI, Super-Collaborative AI, and ASI. It notes that current AI systems boast strong individual capabilities but weak collaborative performance, meaning changes in wages and jobs will precede adjustments to corporate structures. The authors call for the establishment of benchmarks to measure the organizational capabilities of multi-agent systems.

Approximately $590 Million in BTC Block Option Trades Executed Within 8 Hours Post Binance Security Incident, Dominated by Bearish Puts

Large-scale put option transactions were concentrated in the narrow window immediately following the event
In the 8 hours after the abnormal fund outflow incident from Binance's wallets, the total notional trading volume of BTC block options on the Paradigm platform reached approximately $590 million, accounting for half of the BTC block option trading volume on the Deribit platform over the same period. The overall capital flow exhibited a distinctly bearish bias, with put options as the dominant underlying trading instrument.

The first large bearish put transaction emerged roughly 15 minutes after the initial fund outflow from Binance's wallets, at a time when relevant information had not yet been disclosed to the public. A buyer purchased 250 put options with an expiration date of October 31 and a strike price of $78,000. During the hour of highest trading activity, the market also completed two separate block put transactions of 1,000 contracts each. These options expire in mid-November with a strike price of $74,000, and the combined notional value of the two trades totals approximately $155 million.

Paradigm's analysis notes that this concentrated wave of put option buying primarily features strike prices clustered in the $74,000 to $78,000 range, a band that closely matched BTC's spot price at the time of the incident. Traders' core objective was predominantly to hedge against short-term market pullback risks, rather than betting on an extreme crash in Bitcoin's price.

Trump on the Iran War: It Will End Very Soon, Iran Must Reach an Agreement

U.S. President Trump stated again that "the Iran war will end very soon, by whatever means," without specifying how this will be achieved. He added that "we don't know who to talk to, many Iranian leaders are no longer around." He reaffirmed that "Iran must reach an agreement. We need guarantees that Iran will never possess nuclear weapons." Trump previously stated that the United States will not strike Iran before the election.

Deutsche Bank: The AI Dollar Era Has Arrived, and the Safe-Haven Attribute of the U.S. Dollar Is Weakening

Deutsche Bank states that AI-driven market adjustments may alter the traditional relationship between the U.S. dollar and U.S. stocks, and the U.S. dollar is no longer necessarily a safe-haven asset. The recent simultaneous weakness of tech stocks and the U.S. dollar reflects that the risks facing the U.S. dollar are more two-way than previously priced by the market. One of the reasons is that overseas investors hold an unprecedented scale of U.S. stock investments. Currently, overseas investors hold more than $20 trillion in U.S. stocks, with approximately 90% of the asset growth coming from rising stock prices rather than new purchases. Another key factor is the change in equity hedging mechanisms. Over the past decade, the U.S. stock market and the U.S. dollar have exhibited a negative correlation, which has provided significant incentives for investors not to hedge foreign exchange risks. Once the U.S. stock market suffers a shock due to domestic factors, the U.S. dollar may decline in tandem with U.S. stocks, exacerbating losses for overseas investors.

Binance Launches Stolen Asset Backfill, Deploys Over $6.34 Billion in Own Capital to Complete Proof of Reserves Alignment

Asset Backfill Progress and Capital Protection Arrangements
Binance has officially initiated the backfill process for assets stolen in this security incident, and plans to use over $6.34 billion of the company's own capital to fully cover all stolen losses, ensuring user assets remain unaffected by this event. Corresponding tokens valued at over $5 billion have already been secured, and the remaining gap is being simultaneously purchased via public market trading and over-the-counter (OTC) channels to ensure every backfilled token is a perfect one-to-one match for the affected stolen tokens.

Due to the low market liquidity of some involved altcoins, the settlement process for over-the-counter transactions requires a certain processing period. The overall asset backfill is expected to take a relatively long time, and relevant progress will be continuously advanced. The allocated backfill capital amount does not yet include the previously successfully frozen or protected assets involved in the incident.

As of the current time, approximately $3 billion of related stolen assets have been successfully frozen. Binance is concurrently conducting in-depth collaboration with industry partners and law enforcement agencies across jurisdictions to continuously advance the recovery of remaining stolen assets. For any subsequent verified remaining asset gaps, Binance will continue to deploy the company's own resources to make up the difference. All user holdings can be verified through the official Proof of Reserves (POR) channel.
