Analysts: Short-Term Holders Under Pressure, 36,600 BTC Transferred to Exchanges at a Loss

CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated that Bitcoin tested the $76,000 level yesterday, placing pressure on some short-term holders. Over a 24-hour period, short-term holders sent more than 36,600 BTC held at a loss to exchanges, a magnitude large enough to force many market participants into capitulation. On Binance, despite BTC outflows stemming from an exploit, short-term holders have remained more active over the past 7 days, with 7-day cumulative inflows rising to the highest level since October at 45,400 BTC. Darkfost noted that the combined rise in inflows and the volume of loss-making BTC transferred to exchanges indicates that short-term holders have been under significant pressure in recent days. When capitulation among short-term holders intensifies, it typically signals that the pullback has reached extreme levels, and short-term market momentum is likely to shift accordingly.
