Former Claude Code Product Lead Announces Joining OpenAI

Cat Wu posted on social platforms to announce that she has joined OpenAI as the Head of Product Management for Core Products. She previously worked at Anthropic for two years, and was involved in the development of products including Claude Code, Cowork and Tag. She stated that when she joined Anthropic, Claude Code was merely an internal tool, and she subsequently participated in the evolution of the product, noting that last Friday was her last working day at Anthropic. Cat Wu said she looks forward to collaborating with the OpenAI product management team and all company staff to jointly develop agent products that can support individual users and teams, while allowing users to retain full control.
