Crypto Industry Spends Approximately $63 Million to Block Sherrod Brown's Return to the Senate

Crypto industry super PAC Fairshake has deployed nearly $56 million to prevent former Senate Banking Committee Chair and Democrat Sherrod Brown from winning the Ohio Senate race. Combined with the $7.2 million in contributions from the PAC affiliated with the Winklevoss brothers, the industry's total spending on this Tuesday's election reaches approximately $63 million. Over the past two years, the industry's total expenditures targeting Brown have exceeded $100 million. Polls show Brown holds a narrow lead over incumbent Senator Jon Husted, with the margin falling within the margin of error. Kalshi assigns a 68% probability to Brown winning the election.
